Rinchen Choesang Aha! An artist with schizo-affective disorder, who creates schizo-affected soundscapes, which are highly schizo-effective! A schizo romp, so you won't need to take mind altering substances before listening!

In the (good/bad?) days of my youth, people with mental illness were institutionalised in 'Asylums' (known as 'loonie bins'.) This, and the artist's other releases, make me wonder how much wonderful music/poetry/prose/art was hidden from/lost to the world by such unenlightened prejudice. Favorite track: Opium Jazz.

about

An album created while I was living in New York City. These are reflections on various drugs, life in a frenetic, sprawling yet dense and compact metropolis, and the often insidious and exploitive yet glamorous essence that is the culture industry.
